More than 400 students across New South Wales will receive support in 2026, the largest single round in the Foundation’s history and a 38 per cent increase on 2025.

The expansion is funded by a combination of new corporate partnerships and a significant increase in bequests received over the past three years.

Where the support goes

Scholarships are distributed across primary, secondary, tertiary and educator categories, with the largest growth in primary bursaries. Primary support has historically been the hardest to fund because the individual amounts are small and the outcomes are slower to demonstrate.

The Foundation has also expanded eligibility to include students in regional and remote schools who were previously served by a separate and smaller program.
